Terms and Conditions Page
1. Tuition fees are currently payable by cash or by cheque. These fees are subject to revision every term.
2. A deposit of one lesson’s tuition fees is required to secure future bookings, after an initial introductory lesson.
3. Scheduled tutorials will always take place on the same day, time and venue specified in the attached letter, unless rearranged for a time that is mutually convenient. This allotted time will be reserved for you, the client, until a mutually agreed termination date.
4. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be charged to the client at the
standard hourly rate. It is regretted that no exceptions can be made - including
cancellations due to sickness or bad weather.
5. The tutorials are structured to work within the school curriculum, but cannot be used to complete homework or coursework assignments.
6. If tuition is to be provided in the client’s own home, then a well lit, quiet and comfortable area must be provided, without any interruptions. These conditions are essential to ensure maximum benefit to the student.
7. All mobile phones must be switched off during tuition.
8. The tutor will not be held accountable, or responsible, for the academic success or lack thereof, of the student. Although every possible effort is made to improve the academic grades and enhance the achievement of each student, no guarantee is provided.
9. The tutor will not be liable for any direct, incidental, accidental, consequential, indirect, special, punitive or similar damages arising out of using the tuition service, or any errors or omissions in the content of our materials. You, the client, specifically waive any and all claims arising out of use of this tutoring service.
10. All materials provided and created in-house by the tutor are copyright. You, the client, agree that you will not publish or distribute any of these materials.
